  2. Infrastructure
  3. Targeted Professional Development
  4. Program Development, Deployment, and Evaluation;
• Action teams form task forces to include a broader range of faculty, staff, administrators, and students;
• Task forces and action teams recommend action items to the entire Distance Learning Leadership Council;
• DL Leadership Council recommends action items to the University Council for approval.

Task Forces

Soliciting, receiving, and using faculty, staff and student input is a core value of the Office of Distance Learning. To put this value into action, task forces are established to engage faculty and staff in meaningful ways.

During the 2011-12 academic year, the Office of Distance Learning under the guidance of the Distance Learning Leadership Council will sponsor over 15 task forces to research, create strategies, and assist the University in properly addressing important distance learning issues.
