Sloan Consortium

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has joined our Sloan-C community! Every member of the University can now enjoy the Sloan-C Institutional Membership benefits.

  1. Faculty and Staff - Set Up Your Account
    All faculty and staff at the University are considered a member who needs their own Sloan-C account log-in and password. If you do not have an account already, or know a colleague who does not, one must be created. This registration is for a free Sloan-C account. After the new user is registered, he/she needs to create his/her own profile (under "My account") and affiliate him/her self with the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
    *It is important that all interested people at your institution set up a Sloan-C account to take advantage of your institution’s membership.

    Benefits of Account Creation and Sloan C Membership
    • College Pass Workshops. The University has purchased seats in online workshops for faculty and staff to select from a variety of topics. A list of workshops and details for each can be found here. Once you set up your account and review the list of workshops, send an email to distancelearning@louisiana.edu with the name of the workshop(s) and dates. The University administrator designated to manage the College Pass program will register you and you will receive an email with log in information.
    • Sloan-C Newsletter. University faculty and staff can receive the Sloan-C newsletter by signing up here - newsletter.
    • Conference Discounts. With the institutional membership, UL Lafayette faculty and staff can receive 10 discounts for $50 off of the registration fee for our conferences.
    • Website Resources. All members of UL Lafayette faculty and staff have full access to website resources including articles from the Journal of Asynchronous Learning, Surveys, Practitioner Documents, The JobLine, Effective Practices, Reports, Listserv, Catalog, Sloan-C network, and more.
